FAQ
What is the "Evenly distribute rolls" option?
This is an option for those that want to take a little bit of the randomness out of thier gaming experience. By turning this option on, you will each of the possible results over the course of a relatively small number of rolls.
For example, if you are using the Monopoly Dice Set with this option turned on, then over the course of 36 rolls, you will see a result of 2 and 12 once. You will see a result of 3 and 11 twice. You will see result of 7 six times. Etc.
What does the "Result: Total, Over, Under" mean?
Total is the default, where the result is taken by adding up all of the numbers on all of the dice rolled. However, some war games roll 1 die for each squad/unit, and each roll over or under a certain is counted as a hit.
For example, in the popular game Axis & Allies, when an infantry unit is defending, it will hit on a roll of 1 or 2. To create a Dice Set to cover the situation of 2 defending infantry, add 2D6 to the Dice Set, tap on the Under button, then enter the number 3 in the box next to it. The next time that Dice Set is rolled, two D6 dice will be rolled and the result will be either 0 (both missed), 1 (one hit), or 2 (both hit).
How do I get percentile dice?
First, create a new Dice Set. Give it a group name and a name. Then on the line with the Add button, enter a "1" in the first box and a "100" in the second box. Next tap the Add button.
